Favorite Travel Memory:
My favorite travel memory is taking my kids to Walt Disney World for the first time. My youngest son was 2 and was infatuated with Mickey Mouse and the rest of the crew. We booked a trip to Walt Disney World, with a Character breakfast at Chef Mickey’s. Imagine the look on his face when he saw the Fab 5 (Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, Goofy, and Donald) coming right up to our table to give him a high five. These little moments of magic are what keep me coming back to Disney time and time again. My son does not remember the trip, but it is one of the Disney memories that I will always remember.
Favorite Travel Tip:
My favorite travel tip is to just TAKE THE TRIP!
A trip doesn’t always need to be extravagant. A trip can be a weekend in a city a few hours away with the intent to go to a zoo or explore a museum. On the other hand, a trip can take you sightseeing across Europe or climbing the Swiss Alps. Wherever life takes you, don’t forget to take the opportunity to create lasting memories and experiences.
One of my favorite shirts says “Life is short, take the trip, eat the cake, and buy the shoes”. Don’t wait until it is too late to explore the world around you.
Dream Vacation:
I would love to explore Europe someday.
Disney Travel Advice:
Utilize a travel advisor to help with planning and preparation in the months leading up to your trip. If you don’t have a gameplan, you are behind when you walk through the gates and will probably be overwhelmed and miss out on some of the magic. On a practical note, take a portable charger! A full day at Disney is exhausting not only for you, but for your phone too! Whether you are taking pictures, looking up showtimes, utilizing the mobile food ordering system, checking wait times for the top attractions, or booking your next Lightning Lane, your phone will be an important part of your day. A portable charger will not only eliminate potential battery anxiety, but might just save you from missing out on taking your new favorite family picture!
Why should you book your vacation with me?
I have been to Walt Disney World numerous times dating back to my childhood. A lot has changed at Walt Disney World over the years, and keeping up with the change can be cumbersome. Too many times I see families not realizing that Disney today is a game. If you show up not knowing how to play the game, you will more than likely miss out on some of the Disney magic.
I have enjoyed helping my friends and family plan their vacations, and would love to help you in your Disney journey as well. To me, the preparation can be just as much fun and as rewarding as the vacation itself. I have seen first hand how failing to plan or set realistic expectations can negatively impact the desired outcome.
There are many reasons I enjoy working with Disney, but one key reason is the price doesn’t change whether or not you work with an agent. Your final price will be the same, so you have nothing to lose letting someone walk with you through the planning process. A good place to start is to reach out and we can discuss budget, time, and desires of your vacation. I can be as involved as you would like me to be. My motivation is for you to fully experience the Magic of Disney.
