The 10 Best Quick Service Restaurants in Walt Disney World!
By Destiny Dezenzo
1. Flame Tree BBQ – Animal Kingdom: For me personally, anytime I eat Mac and Cheese, I always am dreaming of eating the Pulled Pork Mac and Cheese from Flame Tree. It is such a perfect combination of creamy mac and cheese with a great ratio of pulled pork topped with onion rings.
2. Spring Roll Cart – Magic Kingdom: This quick service is basically tied for the number one spot. Those Cheeseburger Egg Rolls are to die for!! If you are wondering if they’re worth all the hype, they 100% are, it is a definite stop for me every time!
3. ABC Commissary – Hollywood Studios: I feel like the convenience of this quick service makes it worth the high ranking, that and the Buffalo Chicken Grilled Cheese. They have the best options for a convenient stop along the way to all the fun. I feel that the options are all filling but light, no one wants to be on the go with a heavy meal digesting in their bellies!
4. Pecos Bill – Magic Kingdom: I am such a Mexican cuisine lover and that makes Peco’s Bill one of the best quick service meals on property! I love that there is plenty of seating (and air conditioning). The menu has something for everyone! My personal favorite is the Nacho Bowl!
5. Woody’s Lunch Box – Hollywood Studios: Totchos are one of the most popular menu items for a reason, the chili loaded tater tots are such a yummy treat. Some other favorites include the BBQ Brisket Melt and the Lunch Box Tarts. They also serve breakfast where you can fill up with the Breakfast Bowl which includes Woody’s famous tots covered in eggs and gravy before a long day in the parks!
6. Les Halles Boulangerie Patisserie – EPCOT: In my opinion the quick service options are pretty limited in EPCOT but I’m never disappointed with Les Halles! The Jambon Beurre sandwich which is ham and cheese on a baguette topped with a delicious Dijon mustard butter is a quick but filling option that you don’t want to miss out on. The Dinde B.L.T sandwich is also an awesome choice with the delicious garlic aioli topping!
7. Harambe Market – Animal Kingdom: This may not make everyone’s list, but personally I love a rice bowl even if it may be a heavier meal. The Chicken Rice Bowl is one of my favorite flavorful meals. The flavored chicken on rice topped with tomato salad and tzatziki sauce is the perfect combination!
8. Casey’s Corner – Magic Kingdom: One of my favorite traditions is grabbing some corn dogs from Casey’s and finding a seat on the hub to watch fireworks. The portions at Casey’s are always super generous and it helps that it is right on the corner of Main Street U.S.A! It makes for the perfect late time dinner meal after a long day in the park! Don’t forget to grab some cheese fries while you are there!
9. The Friar’s Nook – Magic Kingdom: Let’s not forget somewhere to stop for a quick breakfast meal for an early morning in the parks! Friar’s Nook is conveniently near 7 Dwarf’s Mine Train (one of my go-to rides when rope dropping Magic Kingdom). I usually make a stop after an exciting start to my day for some quick breakfast. My go to is the Cheddar, Bacon, and Ranch Tots, but they also have a Sausage, Egg, and Cheese Bagel Sandwich if you really are looking for a filling breakfast item!
10. Fairfaxe Fare – Hollywood Studios: Whether you stop before the fun for the Waffle Platter or during the fun for the Barbeque Beef Brisket Bowl or the Buffalo Chicken Bowl, something can be found for everyone right on Hollywood Studios Sunset Blvd! Don’t forget to grab the Enchanted Rose for dessert, because who doesn’t love a good chocolate mousse sweet treat!
